Significance of the Divine Revelation in the Book of Revelation
Although there have been several
well-known books of prophecy in the world — such as the Book of Daniel, the
Book of Isaiah, and the Book of Ezekiel in the Bible, as well as Nostradamus’ The
Centuries — the Book of Revelation has two unique spiritual significance
that no other books of prophecies can match.
1. The Book of Revelation Covers the
Longest Historical Period in the World
The Books of Isaiah and Ezekiel contain
various prophecies scattered throughout their texts. Nostradamus’ The
Centuries only prophesied historical events of the last five hundred years, and
these were spread randomly without following chronological order. The Book of
Daniel came close to the Book of Revelation, as it prophesied the rise of four
kingdoms that spanned over a thousand-year period. However, it only covered four
major historical events.
In contrast, the Book of Revelation not
only prophesies all the major historical events in Christian and Middle Eastern
history over the past two thousand years, but also presents them in
chronological order as they actually occurred. It provides powerful historical
testimony to the New Testament and proves that God’s prophecies are real.
In the Old Testament, there are
historical books such as 1 and 2 Chronicles and 1 and 2 Kings, so that the
people of Israel could learn lessons from history and reaffirm their faith even
after two thousand years of exile from their homeland. The New Testament,
however, was compiled in the fourth century and did not have sufficient time to
include such historical testimony.
Now, with the decoding of the visions in
the Book of Revelation, people can see that God has always been watching over
human history from above and has sent His angels to intervene whenever humanity
strayed from the right path. This is the historical testimony that was missing
from the New Testament. Therefore, the historical fulfillment of the visions in
the Book of Revelation serves as the equivalent of the Books of Chronicles for
the New Testament.
2. The Book of Revelation is the Only
Book of Prophecy Revealing the Interventions from Heaven
Unlike other books of prophecy, which
only show visions of events on the earthly level, the Book of Revelation is the
only prophetic book that reveals visions from the heavenly perspective in the
spiritual realm. This is because John was lifted to heaven to see “what
must take place after this.” (Revelation 4:1) This heavenly viewpoint
allows the Book of Revelation to show how God and His angels have intervened
from heaven behind all the major historical events on earth over the past two
thousand years.
In the last century, many people lost
their faith in God because of government-endorsed secularism and atheist
ideology taught in public schools and promoted in government institutions.
Darwin’s Theory of Evolution further convinced millions that everything on
earth happened purely by random chance, with no Creator or divine intervention
behind the scenes. The Communist Revolution in the twentieth century also turned
approximately one-third of the nations on earth against God. Together, these
forces led vast numbers of people away from faith in God.
Now that the historical fulfillment of
the visions on the scroll in the Book of Revelation has been revealed, people
can finally see how God has been actively intervening from heaven throughout
human history. While God grants people free will to make their own choices, He
retains the ultimate authority to make the final judgment in the end. All these
major historical events were pre-planned and prophesied two thousand years ago,
just for people to learn the lesson from history and reaffirm their faith in
God.
Therefore, it is essential for all
Christians and people of God to study the historical fulfillment of the visions
in the Book of Revelation. It is the key to reviving and strengthening people’s
faith in God and in Christ. This forms the first part of the New Revelation of
the Eternal Gospel for the New Millennium of Peace & Wisdom, as prophesied
in the Book of Revelation 14:6.
3. The Spiritual Rapture for the “Second
Coming”
Many people believe when the time of the
“Second Coming” arrives, there will be a “Rapture” for people of faith
to be lifted up to “in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air” (1
Thessalonians 4:17). This is the same spiritual metaphor as described in the
preceding verse: “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a
loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God,
and the dead in Christ will rise first.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16).
As stated earlier, the supernatural
phenomenon of Christ descending from heaven is a spiritual events occurs in the
spiritual realm. In the same way, the “rapture” described in this scripture
is also a spiritual phenomenon in the spiritual realm. In the Book of Revelation
— the final version of all biblical prophecies — there is no case of
physical lifting of people into the air. However, there are two clear examples
of spiritual rapture in the Book of Revelation.
The first case of spiritual rapture is
that John was spiritually lifted from the Island of Patmos into heaven to see
the visions of future events from the spiritual realm. “After this I
looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I
had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, ‘Come up here, and I will
show you what must take place after this.’ At once I was in the Spirit,
and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it.”
(Revelation 4:1-2)
The second case of spiritual rapture is
that “Male Child” born under the reign of the “Red Dragon” in Revelation
12. “The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so
that it might devour her child the moment he was born. She gave birth to a son,
a male child, who ‘will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.’ And her
child was snatched up to God and to his throne.” (Revelation 12:4-5)
As that “Male Child” in Revelation
12:5, I have been spiritually lifted to the throne of God after my birth to
protect me from being detected and devoured by the Red Dragon, but my physical
body have remained on the earth to grow up like an ordinary boy. After I was
spiritually awakened in the year 2000, I can see the historical events in the
world from a heavenly perspective. That’s how I can decode the visions on the
scroll through the interaction between heaven and earth. Because most people
could only see the historical events from the earthly level, no one has been
able to decode the visions on the scroll in the Book of Revelation for the past
two thousand years.
Now, I have come to reveal the true
meaning of the vision on the scroll as well as the “Eternal Gospel” for “every
nation, tribe, language and people”, as proclaimed in Revelation 14:6. Those
who learn the New Revelation of the “Eternal Gospel” for the New Millennium
will be lifted into a higher spiritual dimension and will see worldly events
from heavenly perspective. This is the spiritual rapture for the “Second
Coming” that people have been waiting for.
